Fairfield 8-20 AM(49 read em and weep)

Mr Charles Burks and I put in four hours of fishing this morning. Four hours not an overnighter, day and a half BLITZ, or weekend marathon. In the process we boated and released 48 keeper reds and one rat. The camera overheated and the battery ran low and two fish didn't get photographed. This trip my best this year beats my two trips of 30 reds a week ago.
Peanut and I thinking of either joining the circus or taking our show
on the road.

Charles is not getting camera shy, in the photo process another red takes off with one of his reels.

In the last three years, clients or I have landed eight state record fish and ten water body records. Together we currently still hold ten records.

I had the pleasure of being on this trip with Jackie on Lake Fairfield.
Lived on the coast all of my life and have salt water bay fished from Brownsville way to end of upper coast.
Never have I had such a day as this fishing for redfish or for that matter any other type of salthingyer fish.
I have no dog in this fight but Jackie Kennedy is the best guide I have ever fished with including Mike Williams ,Jim LeValle, Don Hand and David Dillman.
He promises nothing but a hard try at a most unpredectibable species of fish. If you don't catch"em it is not because he didn't put you where he usually catches them.
The trip before this one Jackie caus 6 or 7 redifsh, yours truly caught none,I did catch a nice channel cat and released it.
Guaranteed to try and to tell you the truth.
Bring some extra bacon and biscuits for Peanut.

I think you hit on the secret. Last time I fished with Jackie I brought breakfast and we tore them up. I think if Peanut's belly is full then the fish bite better.
